This 1949 Studebaker Champion Starlight Coupe is a rare find. These cars were designed way ahead of their time. The coupe received a off-the-frame restoration approximately 3 years ago, has been inspected thoroughly and is in excellent operating condition. All features are functional and this car is ready to show and enjoy. The exterior is a dark green finish, all of the glass is very nice and the rare original chrome is complete and has a great luster. This car rides on whitewall tires. The interior has all original components. The original upholstery has been restored in tweed. The dash is beautiful, maintaining the Studebaker heritage. It is still fitted with all of the original knobs and chrome. The gauges are all functional and the lenses are clear. A rebuilt inline flathead 6 cylinder engine is under the hood and the 3 speed on the column is optioned with the factory dash controlled overdrive feature.
