Collector Cars

Most car collector's collect cars from their childhood days. You know, the one your father owned or that great looking car you wish he owned. If you are like me, your collector car is that first old car owned 30 or 40 years ago. In my case its a 1957 Chevy 210 2 door sedan.

Sentiment, of course is not what really makes a car collectible. Rarity is the principal qualification. Any car that was built in limited numbers or built so long ago that only a few survive is automatically a Collector Car. Almost as important as rarity is quality of construction. Fast, powerful cars are also popular with car collectors. Car collectors value cars for their appearance and more Collector Cars probably are bought for their looks than anything else.

Most collectors concentrate on cars from a particular period specializing in Collector Cars built before WWl, before WW2 or the post world war era. This site specializes in Pre 1950 Collector Cars and they are all For Sale!
