Pierce Arrow Motor Car Co. Buffalo, NY

Pierce Arrow Motor Car Co. of Buffalo, NY was one of many prestige American Automobiles built in the U.S. from 1901 to 1938. The first model appeared in 1901 as The Pierce Motorette produced by George N. Pierce. Pierce was also a builder of bicycles and birdcages. In 1904 the company name was changed to Great Arrow and once again in 1909 to Pierce Arrow. By 1914 the Pierce Arrow was available in three models ranging in price from $6,000.00 to $7,000.00. 1920 was the last year for right drive and three new models were introduced in 1921. Sales were dropping in 1923 and in 1928 the Pierce Arrow Motor Car Co. was place under the control of the Studebaker Corp. In 1929 new models were introduced along with a straight eight engine. Sales continued to decrease in the early 1930s even with the new 1933 12 cylinder Silver Arrow priced at $10,000. In 1934 a group of Buffalo businessmen took over Pierce Arrow. But 1936 and 1937 sales were very low and in 1938 the company went out of business.

Very Rare 1941 Hudson Woody Wagon for sale San Diego, California. The first Hudson Wagons were produced in 1936 as a business automobile in the Terraplane line. The Terraplane had began in 1932 as a model of the Essex built by Hudson Motor Car Company. The Baker Raulings company made the Terraplane wood wagons and finished by the U.S Body & Forging Co of Indiana. This 1941 Hudson Woody station wagon was built on a long wheel base sedan chassis and entered the mid size higher price class and it was fully restored by it's previous owner and is correct in every way. Engine is an original 212 cubic Inch 102 Horsepower inline 6 cylinder with a manual 3 speed transmission and overdrive.

Very rare 1942 Plymouth Business Coupe for sale in Ohio. This car is a perfectly restored car from top to bottom. The car’s old enough to proudly display the Mayflower up front as its brand identity. This old Plymouth won the 2006 AACA Grand National (senior) First Prize with it's outstanding Airwing Gray paint. The Plymouth still has small touches of chrome and stainless and they’ve been straightened, polished, re-anodized, replated or rechromed. A set of BFGoodrich Silvertown 6.00-16 tires wrap body color wheels accented by polished stainless trim rings and large domed center caps, both beautifully trimmed with red inlays. All bushings, bearings, seals and suspension parts were replaced.

The interior has neatly trimmed seats and door panels in beige cloth while the upper door frames and dash are finished in their correct "tiger stripe" grain pattern in gray. Art Deco gauge backgrounds are copper colored are beautiful to look at, and again all chrome and trim is nearly perfect. Stunning Mayflower emblems in a copper sunset reside on the door panels above delicately crafted door handles and window cranks featuring the same ivory color knobs as the steering wheel and dash controls. Chrome presents itself in the center of the dash as an understated accent with its waterfall inspired vertical bars and Mayflower emblem. The seats are super comfortable, the visibility is great.

The Paige-Detroit Motor Car Co. was a Detroit, Michigan based motor car company that was in business from 1908 to 1927. The first model was a 2 passenger roadster built in 1908. By 1911 this Collector Car name was changed to just "Paige". The 1919 models with a Duesenberg engine was known as the Paige-Linwood and models with a Continental engine was know as a Paige-Larchmont. The most popular Paige model was the Daytona roadster, first produced in 1922. This sporty three passenger car had a powerful 6 cylinder engine. For the last model year the paige was offered in a 6 cylinder engine and a straight 8 engine. A cheaper car built by Paige from 1923 to 1926 was the Jewett. In 1928, the Paige became the Graham-Paige.
