The Studebaker Electric Victoria Phaeton and Runabout was a true horseless carriage sporting a body that looked like a it was designed for a buggy. The Studebaker Electric battery had 24 cells, was durable but not the extremely high capacity of some other electric automobiles of the time. The battery was designed by Thomas A. Edison.
